How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free within New Zealand and Australia if you spend over $150 and only $8 if you spend under that. Some size restrictions apply (see exceptions).
New ZealandFor all orders within New Zealand we use Aramex Couriers. Parcels should be delivered within 3-5 working days of leaving our workroom in Christchurch, depending on your location in New Zealand. Rural delivers can take a few days longer than this. Please note we don't ship to P.O.BOX addresses so please provide an alternative. If you have not received your order within 5 working days please contact us and we will follow up on the status of your delivery.
International shipping is calculated automatically at check out. For delivery to USA, Canada & Japan and EU/EFTA shipping will cost between NZ $27.- and $49.90.
Exceptions: (please enquire for shipping cost quote)
- We no longer ship over-sized items wider than 2.4m or exceeding 25kg to rural addresses. This includes squabs, canvases & roman blinds. Please provide an alternative address or get in touch to organise your own courier to pick up from our warehouse.
- For deliveries to Great Barrier Island an additional $9 shipping fee is required
- For deliveries to the Chatham Island please enquire for an individual quote
- Products we generally do not ship abroad are: Lampshades, Lining, and Blinds. If you are interested in buying these products please contact us for a specific shipping quote.
What is the expected delivery time of my fabric?
Provided your order is in stock we aim to pack your purchase the day after your order is placed (excluding weekends).
Australia and Worldwide
For all Australian and International orders we use the Air freight service of New Zealand Post and Aramex International. Deliveries will take 7-10 days depending on your location. Because New Zealand Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the target delivery times. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer. Please note we don't ship to P.O.BOX addresses so please provide an alternative.
Is your delivery service tracked?
We use couriers for all our New Zealand deliveries. Every parcel is automatically tracked and this will be emailed to you once dispatched from our Warehouse. Please check your junk mail for this email before contacting us. Please note that international orders are not tracked.
What about if my item is lost or damaged?
All our deliveries within New Zealand are covered by the standard insurance of the courier company. If you have special insurance requirements please inform us upfront so we can quote you accordingly.
Please note that the risk of loss or damage to parcels shifts to the purchaser once the package is accepted and signed for. Please always check your package for damages before signing as our courier company will not accept liability for damages after it has been signed for. Please contact us immediately if your purchase has been damaged.
I live overseas, do I need to worry about duty?
Customs regulations and other border requirements vary from country to country and are outside our control. You are responsible for complying with Customs Requirements and checking and paying any country specific import charges (VAT, GST, levys etc.) if required. For all exports our prices are incl. 0% GST and no refund can be requested.
