This Oiva deep plate is made of brown stoneware and it features the Alku pattern with a hand painted rim. The outside of the dish is naturally rough with no glaze while the inside has a clear glaze. The shape is ideal for salad or rice/noodle dishes.
The bean-like shapes in the Alku (beginning) design represent seeds which grow into magnificent, vigorous flowers.
