The Oiva Unikko bowl is made of brown stoneware, which is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe. The bowl features the Unikko pattern and a clear glaze on the inside, while the outside is left unglazed and naturally rough. This size is ideal for cereal or small salads.
Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
