Geometric goodness in a wallpaper! Maija Louekari’s Ruutukaava (grid street system) pattern is an abstract image of a big city. Grids drawn with various thicknesses of felt pen are reminiscent of windows. The design can also be seen as an unfolding view glimpsed from the window of a descending airplane; the grids then become the roofs of houses, the lines streets and crosswalks. 

Each roll measures 70cm wide, 10m long. Straight match, 42cm repeat. Printed on a non-woven paper backing. More designs available.
