Delivery is free throughout New Zealand with orders over $180, including for over-sized items.
Orders under $180 are charged based on your address. It is usually around $10 (less if you are in Christchurch), with an additional $8 charge for rural deliveries. The physical size of your order does not change our shipping cost to you.
We use NZ Post and Aramex for our NZ deliveries.
Please note - we cannot deliver to PO BOX addresses.
To ensure you are charged the correct rate, choose your address from the drop down menu as you enter your address. If your address is entered incorrectly, our shipping system will not recognise it and will default to a higher shipping fee. Contact us before placing an order if you wish to question the shipping cost. Shipping charges will not be refunded after delivery.
Parcels are usually delivered within 1-5 working days of leaving our workroom. Rural deliveries may take a few days longer than this. Every parcel is automatically tracked and details will be emailed to you so you can check to see when your order will be delivered. Please check your junk mail if you have not received tracking details.
Do contact us if you need your delivery urgently as we may be able to get it on an overnight courier.

Please note larger and breakable items are not available for purchase from Australia.
We are unable to ship to PO Box addresses in Australia.

Delivery is usually 3 - 10 days of leaving our workroom depending on your location in Australia and the physical size and weight of your order.
Please enquire for a shipping cost for orders to other locations. We require your order details (share cart) and your address in order to provide an accurate quote.
Deliveries to the USA are currently suspended.
This option is available for customers who can pick up from our store outside on the Boardwalk at The Tannery, 3 Garlands Road, Woolston, Christchurch. There is no cost for this service.
Pick ups can be made at any time within our store hours. We will call or text you when your order is ready for collection. In stock items are usually ready for collection within 2 hours. If you need something urgently, let us know and we will do our best to help you.
We carefully check, wrap and package your order. Please contact us immediately if items arrive damaged or are lost as claims must be made within 7 days. Please know that we will put right any issues immediately.
Please also note that the risk of loss or damage to parcels shifts to the purchaser once the package is accepted and signed for. Please always check your package for damages before signing as our courier company will not accept liability for damages after it has been signed for or after 7 days of delivery.
You may find your package from Bolt of Cloth arrives looking like it has been with the courier before - that is because it has! We re-use all packaging that comes in to us from suppliers before putting more out in the world.
We also aim to use only recyclable and compostable packaging materials.
