Following the success and complete sell-out of the first BLUNT and Graham Tipene collaboration in 2025, BLUNT is proud to partner with him again. A renowned Tā Moko artist and cultural advisor from Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, Graham’s work is deeply grounded in the traditions and values of mana whenua, honouring whakapapa, identity and cultural continuity.

The design on this Metro umbrella is inspired by Kawakawa Pounamu, a treasured variety of Aotearoa New Zealand greenstone known for its rich, deep green tone which resembles the leaves of the native kawakawa plant. Pounamu is held in the highest regard, the same way Te Reo Māori is deserving of protection, respect and active use.

Collapsible and compact, the metro umbrella conveniently fits in your handbag, tote, or backpack so you're always prepared. An auto-open button releases the canopy for instant coverage at your fingertips.
